Accessing the App

How do I get the mobile App for my phone?

Simply look for Sinzaworship in the App Store or in the Google Play Store. If you can’t find our App, that likely means your phone is not supported.

Can I accept Sinzaworship on desktop or web?

No. You can only access Sinzaworship off your Android or IOS device.

Do I have to pay for the mobile App?

No. Our mobile App is completely free to download and install.

Data Privacy and Policy

What personal data of mine do you access?

The primary data we collect is your email address, name and telephone contact provided during sign up. We use this information to authenticate your sign up request and also periodically communicate to you.

What do you do with my data?

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. We use this information to authenticate your sign up request and any other changes you may request to make over the course of using our App.

The App does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Do you need my email address, name and phone number?

Primarily, we would like to verify an actual person is signing up and not a bot. The other reason is that as part of our community we would like to periodically send you feature notifications, updates, or news emails. Don’t worry we won’t spam you!

Will 3rd parties have access to my data?

We may work with third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:
To facilitate our Service; to provide the Service on our behalf; to perform Service-related services; or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used. These third parties will have access to your Personal Information in order to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

How secure is my personal data?

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, so we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Account Management

I don't remember my password, how can I retrieve it?

Open the Sinza Worship mobile application, tap the login button. Then select the ‘forgot password’ link. Enter your registered email in the email text box and tap the reset password button. A reset password link will be sent to your email address which will allow you to change your password instantly.

How do I change my password?

While the application is open and already logged in, tap the setting icon on the right top part of the screen or the back arrow to get you to the Home page. Then tap the ‘reset password’ option, enter your email in the email text box and finally tap reset password. A reset password link will be sent to your email address which will allow you to change your password.

Content

How do I access new content from all the ministers/partners I follow?

The quickest and easiest way to access all content is through the Stream. When you follow specific Ministers/ ministries or partners you will see their new content as soon as it is uploaded.

How do I see the clips of only the users I follow?

You can view the clips of only users you follow under the ‘Home’ feature by selecting the ‘Following’ option.

What is the quickest way to view all the content from Partners without having to search through the Discover section?

You will need to search for Partners content through the Discover feature. Simply enter the name of the Ministry you are interested in and it will return all content under that Ministry.

What happens to content that I select as liked?

When you click ‘like’ on a specific sermon, worship session or podcast it gets saved under your ‘Profile’ in the ‘Likes’ section. This makes it easy for you to go back and listen to it when you desire.

What do I do if I cannot find sermons on a specific topic?

We are continuously adding sermons on various topics but sometimes we may not have what you are looking for. Do let us know what else you are interested in by sending an email at sinzaworship-support@audersity.com

Does Sinza Worship support shuffle and repeat?

No. The player does not support shuffle and repeat but you can access your already consumed content under the ‘Recently Played’ section.

I am listening to a session and get interrupted by an incoming call, does Sinza Worship support resuming from where I stopped?

Yes, we know how interruptions can be a pickle so our application supports picking up from where you stopped off.

I'm having issues playing a sermon. What do I do?

You could be facing some buffering issues. Here are some troubleshooting tips you can try.

  • Ensure you have a stable network connection
  • Restart your device
  • As a last resort, reinstall your App. You will not lose any saved content.
Can I control the playback speeds of the sermons on my App?

Yes you can by adjusting the speed on the mini player. We however recommend you listen to the content at regular speed, as you will be positioning yourself to receive the full benefits of the Word when you are attentive to what God is saying to you!

Can I download content and consume offline?

No. You cannot download content and consume it offline.

Why does the content sometimes take too long to load?

While we aim to give you a great User Experience, sometimes a number of things get in the way like, a poor internet connection, other Apps running in the background, RAM memory that’s running almost full etc etc.

Here’s what you can do to generally improve the speed of your device:

  •  Sometimes all you need is a simple restart to your Android device
  • Keep your phone updated. Every newer version of Android contains bug fixes and many performance improvements.
  • Uninstall or disable Apps you don’t need to free up more memory.

Content Partner

How do I become a content partnenr?

Completing an expression of interest form available on our website providing your ministry/ partner details is the starting point. We will then engage with you further to understand your needs and share details of the partnership and the administrative matters.

How often can I load content as a partner?

You can load content as frequently as you desire. We recommend a minimum of once a week to ensure that users have new content to engage with on a regular basis.

Where can viewers view my content as a content partner?

Users will view your content under the ‘Stream’ category with the latest content appearing first. They will also find it under specific titles in the ‘Discovery’ section.

Is there a cost for having my content on the Sinza Worship App?

We charge a nominal fee that goes towards ensuring that we are able to effectively ensure our users have access to the content they need.
